1. UNIVERSALLY COMPATIBLE DISC™ ( UCD™ ) This term/logo is used to assure the end user that the Scratch-Less™ Disc Technology remains compatible with 99% of home audio, PC, car cudio, recording/playback devices. The end-user of the product does not need to change or modify any of their current equipment to benefit from this revolutionary new design. The UCD™ logo will be used to assure consumers the universality/compatibility of the discs.

2. EZ-UP-EDGE™ This term is used to describe the Scratch-Less™ Disc's unique characteristic that automatically guides the handler's fingertips under the disc's outer edge, allowing the handler to pick up the disc with ease. This is particularly important due to the fact that discs sustain the majority of all damage when the user attempts to extract it from a storage surface. Discs with the EZ-UP-EDGE™ are safer than conventional discs to pickup from a storage surface.

3. AERO-BUMP™ This term describes the noticeable physical feature added to the disc for the purpose of elevating the read/write surface, creating the unique characteristic known as a Safety-Gap.™ The term AERO-BUMP™ was derived from the two primary physical characteristics of their embodiment. First, "AERO was derived from the aerodynamic properties of the shape of the bumps. The aerodynamic shape is critical in preserving the performance characteristics of the discs (all Scratch-Less™ Discs meet or exceed all applicable "BOOK STANDARDS Orange, Red, Etc.). The aerodynamic shapes are essential to allow the discs to remain universally compatible (particularly to slot load drives i.e.: Dashboard players of cars) to all known playback and recording drives. Second, the term "BUMP is used to describe, in a simple term, the physical embossment added to the disc's physical structure to allow for the creation of the Safety-Gap™. The combined terms describe the unique physical characteristics that will allow consumers to easily identify our unique products.

4. SAFETY-SHIELD™ (Pending) This term will be used to describe the invisible layer of protection added to the data surface of a Scratch-Less™ Disc. By using a state of the art optically clear Hard Coat Polymer, developed by one of our business partners, SLDI is now capable of adding a second layer of protection to prevent Environmental Damage. The use of clear Polymers in conjunction with SLDI patent pending Scratch-Less™ technology results in the world's top performing discs.

5. SAFETY-GAP™ This term is used to describe the space created by the use of Aero-Bumps™ on the disc's surface. The Safety-Gap™ has two subcategories; first, the Active Safety-Gap™ describes the amount of space between the read/write surface of any Scratch-Less™ Discs when placed on a flat or substantially flat surface. The Active Safety-Gap™ affords the greatest amount of protection to the disc. Second, the Passive Safety-Gap™ describes the amount of space between two adjacent Scratch-Less™ Discs when stacked in a vertical column. (Particularly in reference to the G-4 series and above.

6. SMART-LOAD™ This term refers to the ability of a Scratch-Less™ Disc to correct its orientation during the loading and ejection process. Through the deliberate configuration of different sized and shaped Aero-Bumps™, our R&D department was able to engineer a self-contained, anti-jamming device without disrupting the normal playback or recording process (compatible with 99% of all recording/playback drives).

7. SCRATCH-LESS™ This term describes the disc's overall purpose and primary characteristic. The combined technologies utilized in our discs virtually eliminates the occurrence of physical damage (environmental damage) that is typically sustained during normal usage and handling.
